Original Carving Date: 2002 - Release Date: 5/24/2002
Edition Size: 3713 - Status: Retired
Artist: David Lawrence - Made in the United Kingdom
Inspired by a vessel belonging to artist David Lawrence,
this beautiful carved stein is one of the few containers not to
be eroded, distorted or decayed by “Penfold’s Old Peculiar,”
a strong brew with a specific gravity of 1057 degrees.
The two dates on the stein - 1995 and 2002 - are
the dates when David started carving for Harmony Kingdom:
his first appearance and the time of his resurrection.
Engraved around the bottom is two drinking greetings:
“Raise a cup of kindness” (borrowed from Robert Burns) and
“Wassail! Wassail!” (an Old Norse word meaning “Be whole.”).
Hidden inside the stein is a hop, the fruit responsible for
the pungent flavoring of most English real ales.
1.4" wide, 1.9" long, 2.8" high.
Photos are of the actual piece you will receive.
This is a Secondary Market piece. Though the gift box has
sustained some damage, the figurine is in MINT condition.
More information about this piece can be
found on the Harmony Kingdom official website.
